Experience a sail , Green Island and the Great Barrier Reef all in the one day . “Ocean Free” is the only personal Green Island + GBR tour with a maximum of 35 guests . This 16M sailing schooner moors on a private reef just 1 Km off Green Island so guests can snorkel just off the boat onto “Pinnacle Reef” where the “bommies” (coral outcrops ) come to just 1M under the surface for great viewing of this stunning coral garden. This area is also highly protected so fish life abundant. All snorkeling gear including wetsuits/lycra suits , snorkel jackets , are provided free of charge . The helpful crew will also teach you how to snorkel and even take you in the water on a personal snorkel tour if extra in-water assistance is needed. Snorkel and dive ( optional extra) at any time during the day just off the boat . Only our guests snorkel and dive this site for extra privacy !

Enjoy a full smorgasbord lunch on board the boat and then go and explore the stunning Green Island . Transfers to the island are in their tender and the crew will land you directly on the beach of the island . Relax or explore the tropical beach – the time spent between the reef and the island is flexible to meet with your individual needs

After 4 and ½ hrs of reef and island activities experience an awesome sail ( wind permitting !) while the crew serve fruit , cheese and cake platters and a glass of wine . A great way to end the perfect sail , Island and reef experience . Personal attention throughout this tour.

Optional Extras :

Ocean Free offers a very personal dive experience . Enjoy an Introductory or first time dive with only 3 divers to one instructor (mostly 2:1 ). Certified divers dive in small groups with a complimentary guide. All potential divers will need to fill out a diving medical questionnaire to assess their suitability to dive.

Glass Bottom Boat tours and semi -sub tours can be arranged on Green Island for an extra cost - please inform skipper on boarding if any of these Island options are also wanted
