Aboriginal Discovery: half day guided hike

Location(s):

Sydney, Cronulla, Bundeena, Royal National Park.

Description:

Discover Dharawal Aboriginal engravings, a 7000 year old midden and learn about traditional bush tucker as you explore the stunning sandstone of Jibbon headland and beach. Expertly guided and catered, this is the perfect way to discover Sydney's aboriginal heritage in Australia's oldest national park.

We walk up to 5km (3.1 miles) so come prepared to hike, wearing enclosed, supportive shoes and appropriate clothing. This is a gentle walk, traversing flat terrain but does cover uneven surfaces, including sandy beaches and rock.

Easily accessible by road or public transport from the CBD in less than an hour, we meet at Cronulla for a short ferry ride across the Port Hacking River to the walk's starting point at Bundeena.
