Departing daily from the Marina Mirage, Port Douglas, our experienced crew will take you to the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef Marine Park in our fast, stable and comfortable vessel.
Visiting three breathtaking sites daily, the stylishly modern and custom designed catamaran ‘Calypso’ has set the benchmark for Outer Great Barrier Reef cruises from Port Douglas.
Family owned and operated for over 10 years, Calypso is designed to carry 110 guests however only travels with approximately 70 to ensure maximum comfort and a personalised experience for all. Calypso caters for the apprehensive snorkeller, introductory divers and dive enthusiasts.
Space and comfort has been created and maximised on every part of this magnificent vessel. The nine metre wide back deck provides plenty of room, comfort and ease as you enter the water to partake in marine activities. Calypso has an exclusive top deck with sunlounges and large, spacious upper and lower foredecks have also been designed with comfortable day bed seating to maximise outdoor relaxation.
Learn about the marine life and eco-systems through our reef interpretive chat on board or take part in a guided snorkelling tour and surround yourself by the rainbow of brilliantly coloured fish and coral. Calypso is advanced eco certified and committed to the protection of the Great Barrier Reef. Their crew take pride in educating guests on the importance of the Great Barrier Reef and adhere to environmentally friendly practices daily.

Our fast, stable and comfortable vessels all have large deck areas and spacious saloons. Our experienced crew provides friendly and professional service. Unwind while you snorkel, take an introductory or certified dive or just relax on board and enjoy a refreshing drink - our boats are fully licensed.

An Environmental Management Charge of $3.50 per person is payable on board.
Transfers from Cairns and Northern Beaches are available at a cost of $20.00 pp from Palm Cove Beaches and $30 pp from Cairns and other Northern Beaches - this must be prebooked and be paid direct on the day of travel.

Pickup Time:
A bus will pick up our guests from the reception area of their accommodation. A pick up time will be arranged at time of booking. Alternatively guests can make their own way to the Calypso vessel at the Port Douglas Marina Mirage, boarding is at 8.40am.
Transfers from Cairns and Northern Beaches are available at a cost of $20.00 pp from Palm Cove Beaches and $30 pp from Cairns and other Northern Beaches - this must be prebooked and be paid direct on the day of travel.
