Join the crew on board Osprey V for the ultimate day in action packed all inclusive activities for viewing the Great Barrier Reef from every possible perspective. Cruising out from the Cairns Marlin Marina, your guides will explain how your magical day is about to start while you sit back and enjoy the comfortable smooth ride assisted by high tech computerized stabilizers.

First activity will be a certified or introductory dive at Saxon or Norman Reef before heading out to do some free time snorkeling. Indulging in an Aussie BBQ lunch, we will make our way to Hastings Reef for an amazing 10 min Helicopter Scenic flight over the reef looking for turtles, manta rays and taking in the 360 degrees of Ocean views, tropical sand Cays and Islands off in the distance.

Returning back to Osprey V, you will be taken on a glass bottom boat tour (weather dependent) learning about the reef from a dry seat. Having some more time to snorkel you are collected back on board to enjoy live entertainment by our local entertainer while you are treated to complimentary cheese, crackers and a glass of wine. With no large crowds your day will made unique personal and one you’ll find hard to forget.

Diving Information: Prior to diving you will be required to fill in a Medical Questionnaire. If you answer YES to any question you will be referred to a qualified physician for a Dive Medical assessment that conforms to Australian Standard AS4005-1. You will not be allowed to dive until you have this certificate.

One of the fastest vessels travelling to the true outer Great Barrier Reef, Osprey V allows you to spend more time enjoying the reef and less time travelling. This large modern mono-hull vessel offers over 5 hours at 2 amazing outer reef locations, and with activities for the whole family the Osprey provides the perfect day out at great value.

The Osprey departs daily from Cairns at 8:30am and returns at approx. 5:00pm. Enjoy an Aussie BBQ lunch including fish, steak, sausages, vegetarian, tropical salads and pastas. Then relax in comfort in the modern air-conditioned lounges or laze around on the spacious sundeck after joining the many in-water activities.

On the way home sing along with the on-board entertainer Elvis as he sings and performs his famous didgeridoo show.

For the Snorkellers:
Whether you’re a non-swimmer or an Olympic medallist Down Under Cruise & Dive caters for everyone. With professional Divemasters, specialised flotation devices and FREE dedicated snorkel guides, you'll feel safe in the water whatever your experience level.

For the Certified Divers:
With over 12 exclusive dive sites, the Osprey provides great options for the certified diver. Dedicated Divemasters/Instructors maintain the utmost safety while allowing you to explore to the limits.

For the Introductory Divers:
No experience necessary! Experience the reef the way the fish do in perfect safety, by taking a dive around the reef with one of their professional Dive Instructors. If you’re not sure try the FREE 5 minute trial before you dive!
