Our Outer Great Barrier Reef 3 day 2 night liveaboard dive trip departs from Cairns every day at 7:00am except Tuesday (check in by 6.15am at our Retail Shop) on the corner of Grafton and Shields Street. The trip includes up to 11 fantastic dives and or snorkelling at a range of our 16 exclusive dive sites. Included in the price is two nights’ accommodation and all meals on the boat and all dive gear hire (including dive computer and long leg wetsuits). Cairns and Northern Beaches accommodation transfers (to as far north as Palm Cove) are included as well as a guided orientation and night dive.

There is no doubt that the best way to really experience the Great Barrier Reef is to stay out there for a few days. You get much more time to relax and really enjoy yourself and ultimately more time for diving and snorkelling.

It is also much better value than day trips or other liveaboard options allowing you to maximize your time at the reef and each dive site. You'll get to participate in up to 11 dives, 9 day and 2 night, or as a snorkeller you'll get to experience a large variety of fantastic outer barrier reef locations.

We have 16 exclusive dive sites on 4 different outer barrier reef locations and we visit a selection of these sites on every trip. These sites have been selected for their variety and quality of both coral and marine life as well as great visibility. We rarely dive the same site more than twice.

Our 3 premium, purpose built, multimillion dollar dive vessels provide the ideal way to stay out and experience what the Great Barrier Reef has to offer. The Pro Dive Cairns vessels are 25 metres (80 feet) in length and feature 14 twin share and 2 double cabins with private amenities for every 2 cabins. The vessels are centrally air-conditioned, light and airy. There are 2 large decks, one for gear and one strictly for sun tanning and relaxing. These vessels are the only purpose built outer reef liveaboards operating in the area.

Our trip departs from Cairns every day except Tuesday at 7.00am (check in by 6.15am at our Retail Shop on the corner of Grafton and Shields Street).

Our trip includes Cairns and Northern Beaches accommodation transfers (to as far north as Palm Cove). Please advise your accommodation place at the time of booking or at least 48 hours prior to your trip departure reconfirm your booking.

VALID 01 APRIL 2010 / 31 MARCH 2012 - An additional fee of $60.00 per person is payable direct to Pro Dive Cairns. This fee consists of a $16.50 Government Environmental Charge as well as a Port Departure Tax and administration charges. This charge is applicable to all passengers travelling out on the 3 Day 2 Night Liveaboard Dive trip and all Dive Courses combining the 3 Day trip.

REFUND POLICY: You can cancel and get a full refund at any time up to 48 hrs prior to departure. There is no refund for cancellations within 48 hrs prior to departure.

Note: Some medical conditions may prevent you from diving. You will be required to complete a statement regarding your current medical fitness to dive. Evidence of Dive Certification is required from all certified divers.

The trip includes snorkelling, 2 nights air-conditioned accommodation (twin share cabins with shared facilities) and all meals on the boat, all gear hire, Cairns and Northern Beaches accommodation transfers (to as far north as Palm Cove).

Please Bring:

Swimmers, Towels (2 towels each) and sunscreen. We recommend that passengers bring a small overnight style bag on the boat. Large suitcases / backpacks can be stored Free of Charge at our Pro Dive Cairns retail shop.

An additional fee of $60.00 per person is payable direct to Pro Dive. This fee consists of a $16.50 ($10.50 as of 01 April 2012) Government Environmental Charge as well as a Port Departure Tax and administration charges. This charge is applicable to all passengers travelling out on the 3 Day 2 Night Liveaboard Dive trip and all Dive Courses combining the 3 Day trip.

Child Policy Info:

Children of all ages are welcome on board our 3 day 2 night trip. Please note that Pro Dive Cairns does not offer a child minding facility on board - young children must be supervised by a parent / guardian at all times.

All Passengers under the age of 18 years old - must have a parent / guardian accompany them on board.
