The Bondi Surf Experience – For Beginners

This popular beginner course teaches you how to safely get out and up onto your first wave. Here you’ll be taught in a small group setting of 5 students or less, so you get plenty of hands-on help. To build up your knowledge and confidence, we first start you out on the beach and teach you how to recognize surf conditions and practice your surfing technique before you get into the water. Then it’s off into the ocean, where you start off in broken waves – the white foam created after the waves run their course. You’ll be amazed at how easy, safe and enjoyable it can be to learn to surf.

Lets Go Surfing

Operator Description:

At Lets Go Surfing we teach surfers of all levels, even those afraid of the smallest of waves. From group to private classes, we’ll help you meet your goals, whether you want to simply stand up, hang 10 or imitate your favorite pro surfer. Our lessons go for two hours and include everything you need (surfboards, wetsuits, sunscreen, rash vests and expert instruction in small groups of up to 6 people per fully-qualified coach). You only need to bring your swimwear and a towel. For adults we offer a number of different lesson packages. You can choose 1 lesson, 3 lesson or 5 lesson packages. We also offer the Accelerated package which includes 3 beginner lessons, 2 x 2 hour equipment hire, followed by an intermediate lesson. We also run lessons for kid’s everyday as well as special holiday camps during the school holidays. You can take the lessons on consecutive days, weeks, or months and have 6 months to use them.
